CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

COVID-19 Update: 21 October 2022

CPR First Aid essential service and still able to deliver first aid and CPR courses. We are actively monitoring advice from the Australian Government, the Chief Medical Office and the Australian First Aid Training Council in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and precautions we must put in place to ensure client health and safety in our classes.

UPDATE

The First Aid IRC has advised the Australian Industry and Skills Committee that all reasonable adjustments implemented during the pandemic should be removed before the 1st of September 2022. Thus, all RTOs must deliver first aid courses under pre covid assessment requirements. No modifications can be made to the way assessments must be completed. Though, we still recommend students to wear masks in classes and we continue to maintain our sanitising practices after use of all equipment or after working in pairs.

HOW ARE WE MEETING GOVERNMENT & COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS?

We have implemented stringent hygiene practices

  • hand washing / sanitising (20 second hand washing) before and after entering the class

  • hand washing / sanitising after touching any equipment

  • handwashing / sanitising is also enforced if a learner touches any personal belongings, such as a mobile phone, in the class environment

  • sanitised surfaces and equipment with antibacterial sprays
