- Pre-course theory must be completed prior to attending your class. Failure to complete theory may result in exclusion from the course and forfeiture of fees.

CPR Course FAQs
To keep our training costs down a large component of our courses are completed as theory at home prior to the class. And by not supplying refreshments on the day of training we are able to keep our prices low and offer student pricing for all.
It also means we can focus on the fun stuff on the day of the class, and incorporate more practical exercises and assessments rather than a theory-based class environment.
Our courses are nationally accredited and are the same courses delivered nationally by any other RTO (Registered Training Organisation) provider. All of our courses must follow the ARC guidelines if delivered in Australia to make them compliant.
If you hold current qualifications and train annually, we recommend the 30 min Express Refresher CPR (with pre-course theory). This is an ASSESSMENT ONLY course and it will be difficult to complete the class assessments without prior learning.
If you don’t have previous training or first time to take the course, we recommend the 1.5hr Regular CPR (with pre-course theory).
If you don’t have previous training or no time to complete the pre-course online theory, we recommend the 2.5hr Full Length CPR (no theory).
The pre-study consists of multiple choice questions which can be done online.
Pre-study takes on average 2-3 hours. 95% of students prefer the online method (as opposed to attending another day) as it is convenient and cost effective.
Online First Aid courses are not accredited, so they can't be used for certification or employment purposes. The First Aid course assessment requires practical demonstration of CPR. This means that you will have to use an actual manekin, which is not available online for any reason and can only be found at real life training courses.
Yes. Your first aid certificate will state that you're qualified to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) because it's part of the training for those who have obtained their certification.
Defibrillation training is now a component of the HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation course, there is no longer a stand alone 22101VIC course.
Our statement (certificate) will be emailed upon successful completion after 7pm the same day for morning classes, or next day for afternoon classes.
Your CPR qualification will not expire. However, it is recommended that you update your qualification every 12 months.
Most workplaces will require staff to have updated qualifications and because course codes can change every 2-3 years it is usually a requirement that first aiders hold a qualification for a current course.
