FAQ
First aid in Braybook — common questions
Where are your Braybook first aid classes held?
We run nationally recognised CPR and first aid courses at convenient Braybook locations, with weekday, evening and weekend sessions. Choose a date and venue when you book and we’ll confirm the exact address by email.
Will I get my certificate the same day?
Yes. Once you complete the online theory and the practical assessment, your nationally recognised statement of attainment is issued the same day — usually emailed within a few hours.
Do I need to do anything before class?
Most courses include short online theory to complete beforehand. You’ll receive a link by email after booking. Bring photo ID and your USI on the day.
Do you offer group or workplace training in Braybook?
Yes. We run on-site group sessions for Braybook workplaces, schools and childcare centres with flexible dates and volume pricing. Request a quote and a coordinator will tailor a session for your team.
Do I need to bring anything on the day?
Bring photo ID and your USI (Unique Student Identifier). If you haven’t registered for a USI yet, you can do so for free before your session.
Is this course recognised by my employer or industry body?
Yes — HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID012 and HLTAID014 are nationally recognised units of competency under RTO 21903, accepted by employers and regulators across Australia. Non-accredited awareness courses are clearly marked as such.
What happens if I fail the practical assessment?
If you don’t pass on the day, your trainer will work with you on the spot where possible, or offer a free reassessment at a later session — just ask your trainer or contact us to arrange it.
How long do the courses take?
HLTAID009 Provide CPR runs approximately 3 hours. HLTAID011 Provide First Aid runs approximately 7-8 hours. Exact timing is confirmed during booking.
When will I receive my certificate?
Successful participants receive their nationally recognised certificate the same day, usually emailed within a few hours of completing the practical session.
How many people are in each class?
We keep class sizes small to ensure plenty of hands-on practice time and individual attention from your trainer.
Can I get a receipt or tax invoice for my employer?
Yes — a tax invoice is automatically emailed to you on booking, and a copy is available on request for reimbursement purposes.
What happens to my certificate if I lose it?
Your certificate is also stored in your online student portal, so you can download a replacement copy at any time.
What should I wear to the practical session?
Comfortable, casual clothing suitable for hands-on practical activities, including some time on the floor for CPR practice.
Can I bring a colleague and book together?
Yes — you can book multiple seats in the same public class, or request a private group session for your team. Contact us for group rates.
