CPR & FIRST AID FOR ESSENTIAL WORKERS
COVID-19 Update: Friday 22nd October 2021:
NSW: NSW is now out of lockdown and First Aid classes are operating in our venues in the Sydney CBD, Hornsby and Parramatta. We are always ensuring our classes are CovidSafe and we ensure staff follow strict sanitising and distancing practices in all venues. Masks are compulsory for learners in classes at all times unless an exemption applies.
VIC: The Greater Melbourne Area is now out of lockdown and there are no restrictions in VIC regarding attending First Aid classes. We are deemed an educational facility and one of the reasons you can still leave home. Your class booking confirmation can be used as proof of a travel exemption. We are always ensuring our classes are CovidSafe and we ensure staff follow strict sanitising and distancing practices in all venues. Masks are compulsory for learners in classes at all times unless an exemption applies.
SA: There are currently no lockdowns or restrictions in Adelaide regarding attending First Aid classes. Masks are currently compulsory in classes and we also follow strict sanitising and distancing practices.
QLD: There are currently no lockdowns in QLD which affect attendance to First Aid classes. However there are currently mask wearing restrictions in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Moreton Bay and masks are currently compulsory for learners in classes unless an exemption applies. We are always ensuring our classes are CovidSafe and we ensure staff follow strict sanitising and distancing practices in all venues
WA: There are currently no lockdowns or restrictions in Perth regarding attendance to First Aid classes. Masks are not compulsory in classes however we still follow strict sanitising and distancing practices.

CPR First Aid is actively monitoring advice from the Australian Government, the Chief Medical Office and the Australian First Aid Training Council in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and precautions we must put in place to ensure client health and safety in our classes. Please also monitor your State’s Health Department for changes to local rules, regulations and exposure sites related to Covid 19.

- Clinical Health & Biomedical Science Staff
- Childcare Workers
- Aged Care & Disability Workers
- Construction Workers
- Essential Business WHS (OH&S) Personnel
- Anyone holding a Permitted Workers Permit
- Students enrolled in Essential Business courses (you should carry evidence of your Uni/Tafe enrolment on you for government officials)
*Essential workers should keep their booking confirmation on them and evidence they are an essential worker/student to provide to any government authorities if required

If have come into contact with anyone who has tested positive to Covid-19 or who is isolating, or if you are sick or displaying any of these signs:
