Pocket Mask Training Pre-requisites –
- HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or
- HLTAID010 – Provide an emergency first aid response (free upgrade to HLTAID011), or
- HLTAID011 – Provide first aid

Which First Aid Course Do I Need?

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the standard first aid qualification required for most Australian workplaces. If you work in a childcare, early learning, or education and care environment, you may require HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.
For those who wish to acquaint themselves with the proper usage of the pocket mask, Pocket Mask training is a good way to go about it. This training is not a standalone course. Instead, it is an add-on to other courses such as HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
Do I Earn a Certificate for Completing the Pocket Mask Training? How Long is the Validity of This Certificate?
Yes. Participants are awarded with a 1-Year Statement of Completion.

What happens to my certificate if my class starts after 3pm or on a weekend?
Certificates for classes starting 3pm or later, and weekend classes, are processed the next business day rather than the same day.
